A short overview of how TradeFlux approaches personal information.
Clear purpose
We only use personal information for defined and legitimate business purposes.
Minimum necessary data
We aim to collect only the information reasonably required to provide and operate the TradeFlux service.
No broker passwords
TradeFlux does not ask for your RoboForex password or take control of your broker account.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may have rights over how your personal information is used.
1. About This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TradeFlux handles personal information, and applies to personal information processed through:
- the TradeFlux website
- customer registration and onboarding applications
- communications with TradeFlux
- TradeFlux-controlled customer support
- administration of the TradeFlux service
RoboForex operates separately from TradeFlux and has its own privacy arrangements. This policy does not describe how RoboForex handles your information — for that, please refer to RoboForex's own privacy materials.
2. Who Is Responsible for Your Information
TradeFlux is operated by C&L GROUP LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 11712068, with its registered office at Tenby Place, 102 Selby Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, England, NG2 7BA. C&L GROUP LTD is the organisation responsible for the personal information described in this policy, as data controller or controller-equivalent as required by applicable law.
Privacy enquiries can be sent to hello@tradefluxea.com or raised through our official Contact page.
3. Information You Provide to Us
Personal information you provide directly to TradeFlux during registration, when using our services or when contacting us may include:
- name
- email address
- country of residence
- telephone number
- trading experience
- risk-related questionnaire information
- planned trading balance or deposit band
- preferred account type
- preferred account currency
- information supplied through enquiries or support requests
- confirmations you make during the TradeFlux onboarding process
Where particular information is required to enter into or perform an agreement with you, or to meet an applicable legal requirement, we will make that clear when the information is requested. Where appropriate, we will also explain the consequences of choosing not to provide it.
4. Information Generated When You Use the Website
TradeFlux does not currently operate optional analytics, advertising or marketing tracking through the website. Some technical information is still generated or logged as a by-product of running the website and its underlying infrastructure securely, which may include:
- IP address
- browser and device information
- timestamps
- page requests
- security and diagnostic records
If optional tracking technologies are introduced in future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before they are used.
5. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information for purposes connected with providing and operating the service, which may include:
- administering your TradeFlux customer relationship
- managing onboarding
- assessing information supplied during registration
- providing the TradeFlux-controlled service
- customer support
- sending service-related communications
- securing TradeFlux-controlled systems and information
- preventing misuse and fraud
- record keeping
- administering fees and customer relationships
- meeting legal and compliance obligations where applicable
- improving and maintaining TradeFlux-controlled systems
- marketing, where legally permitted
Where we send marketing communications, they will include an appropriate way to unsubscribe or opt out where that is required.
6. Lawful Basis for Processing
Depending on the law that applies and on the specific activity, TradeFlux may rely on bases such as:
- performance of a contract
- steps requested before entering into a contract
- legitimate business interests
- legal obligations
- consent, where consent is required
Different activities may rest on different bases; no single basis covers everything we do. For example, we may rely on steps requested before entering into, and performance of, your customer relationship with TradeFlux when processing your onboarding application; on legitimate interests when operating, securing and improving TradeFlux-controlled systems and preventing misuse; on legal obligations where these apply; and on consent where consent is genuinely required, such as for certain marketing communications.
7. Trading and Suitability Information
Our onboarding questions ask about matters such as trading experience and attitude to risk. We process that information as part of the TradeFlux onboarding and service process.
- It helps us understand who we are working with and shape the information we provide.
- It does not give TradeFlux access to, or control of, your broker account.
- It is not personal financial advice, and should not be treated as such.
TradeFlux does not currently use the information submitted through onboarding to make a solely automated decision that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.
8. RoboForex and Other Third Parties
RoboForex is separate from TradeFlux. You interact directly with RoboForex for:
- broker registration
- identity verification required by RoboForex
- deposits
- withdrawals
- broker account management
- joining the TradeFlux copy-trading strategy
Information you give to RoboForex does not automatically flow to TradeFlux. If integrations or verification processes are introduced later, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe them before they operate.
9. Who We May Share Information With
Where sharing is necessary, it currently involves the following technology and service providers:
- Supabase — database provider used to store TradeFlux onboarding application records.
- Vercel — infrastructure provider used to run TradeFlux's server-side website and API functions.
- OpenAI — AI processing provider used by the TradeFlux Assistant (see Section 10).
- professional advisers, where necessary
- authorities, where disclosure is legally required
These providers may process or access information only as necessary to provide the relevant TradeFlux functionality. RoboForex is a separate third party that you interact with directly — see Section 8.
10. The TradeFlux Assistant (AI Support Tool)
The TradeFlux website offers an AI-powered chat tool, the TradeFlux Assistant, to help answer general questions about the TradeFlux service. When you send a message to the TradeFlux Assistant, the text you submit is sent to an AI service provider so it can be checked for policy violations (moderated) and used to generate a support response.
TradeFlux currently uses OpenAI to provide this AI-processing functionality. Only the bounded conversation context needed to answer your current message is sent — the TradeFlux Assistant does not deliberately persist your conversation history to a TradeFlux customer database or to browser local storage.
OpenAI may process the data submitted through the TradeFlux Assistant in accordance with its own applicable terms, privacy arrangements and abuse-monitoring practices. We do not claim that OpenAI retains nothing, and we do not state a specific retention period, transfer safeguard or legal basis for OpenAI's processing here, as these have not been confirmed to us.
11. International Data Transfers
The Supabase database used to store TradeFlux onboarding application records is hosted in the West EU (Ireland) region.
Other technology providers TradeFlux uses, including Vercel and OpenAI, may process or access information from locations outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where that happens and applicable data-protection law requires safeguards, TradeFlux will use the safeguards required.
12. How Long We Keep Information
We aim not to keep personal information for longer than is reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected for. How long that is depends on factors such as:
- the duration of your relationship with TradeFlux
- the purpose for which the information was collected
- any legal or regulatory retention requirements that apply
- accounting or record-keeping needs, where applicable
- fraud-prevention and security requirements
- the need to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim or dispute
Different categories of information may be kept for different periods based on these criteria.
13. Security
TradeFlux aims to use appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect the personal information under its control.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. If you believe TradeFlux-controlled systems or information have been accessed without authorisation, please tell us as soon as you reasonably can.
14. Cookies and Similar Technologies
TradeFlux does not currently operate optional cookies or similar tracking technologies for analytics, advertising or marketing purposes through the website.
Strictly necessary technical or security-related storage may be used where required for the website or service to operate. This Privacy Policy will be updated before any optional tracking technologies are introduced, and consent will be sought where that is required.
15. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on the law that applies and on the circumstances, you may have rights including:
- access to your personal information
- correction or rectification
- deletion or erasure
- restriction of processing
- objection to processing
- portability
- withdrawal of consent, where processing relies on consent
- complaint to the relevant supervisory authority
Right to object
Depending on applicable law and the processing involved, you may have the right to object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests. Where personal information is used for direct marketing, you may also have the right to ask us to stop using it for that purpose.
16. Children
TradeFlux is intended for adults. The service is not intended for anyone under 18, and TradeFlux does not knowingly seek to provide its trading service to children.
If you believe someone under 18 has registered, please contact us so we can look into it.
17. Changes, Complaints and Contact
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Where a change materially affects you, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention. The version published on the TradeFlux website shows its Last Updated date at the top of the page.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information, you may have the right to complain to an appropriate data-protection supervisory authority. As C&L GROUP LTD is registered in England and Wales, this includes the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
We would welcome the chance to address your concern directly first, but contacting TradeFlux is not a requirement before contacting the ICO or another relevant supervisory authority.
